Apple is changing the Pro lineup's accent color. Orange from iPhone 17 Pro is out — its place is taken by dark cherry. According to MacWorld, this shade will be the main color bet in the iPhone 18 Pro.
Four Colors Being Tested
The leak names four options for the Pro versions:
- Dark Cherry — a muted, rich shade, closer to burgundy than red. Not loud, but noticeable. This is what will make the new generation visually distinct from the previous one.
- Light Blue — soft, neutral, expectedly popular.
- Dark Gray (almost black) — for those who love strictness without excess accents.
- Silver — a classic that doesn't leave the lineup for years.
One of the four colors may not make it to the final version. Apple doesn't always release the Pro in the full leak composition. Early rumors indicated dropping black — apparently, its role is now played by dark gray.
What About the Foldable iPhone Fold?
For the iPhone Fold, Apple chose a restrained two-color palette: silver and indigo — a dark blue, close to "Navy" from the iPhone 17 Pro. No color experiments: the foldable flagship is positioned as a business accessory.
The official presentation is expected in fall 2026. The final palette may differ from the leak — but dark cherry already looks like the main trump card.
