India Leads Smartphone Manufacturing for the US Market

In Q2 2025, India took first place in smartphone manufacturing for the American market. According to analytics firm Canalys, India accounted for 44% of all smartphone shipments to the US. For comparison, Vietnam's share was 30%, and China's was 25%.

Previously, in 2024, China dominated with 61% of shipments, while India had only 13%. India's rapid growth is linked to Apple's decision to move manufacturing capacity from China to India to avoid import duties.
