Analysts and insiders have published information about the first foldable iPhone. UBS reports that its price will be in the $1,800 to $2,000 range, making it the most expensive iPhone to date. For comparison, the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 costs $1,999.
According to insider Instant Digital, the unfolded iPhone will be 4.8 mm thick, slightly thicker than the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at 4.2 mm. This size difference may affect how the device feels in users' hands.
Earlier, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo noted that mass production of the foldable iPhone will begin in 2026, with a launch expected in late 2026. This aligns with the company's plans to bring an innovative product to market that can compete with existing foldable devices.
